Come tour our Frontier Country Museum and Historical Center and learn about Oklahoma Frontier history - the day it
happened!  The museum preserves and exhibits an outstanding collection of pioneer artifacts from pre-20
th Century to
the present. The museum exhibits are displayed as interactive, living-history exhibits that depict all facets of home and
commercial life as it evolved during the development of our region. The museum and its contents appeal to school
children, tourists, and citizens of all ages who are interested in history.

The 36 exhibits in our Museum features:  a one-room schoolhouse, an Armed Forces memorial, a doctor's office,
barbershop and general store, and many other displays that retell the story about Oklahoma's past as it related to the
oil industry, agriculture, mom-and-pop service stations and stores.  Logan County and Crescent historical exhibits are
also on display.

The museum is easy to find. Travel North, (from OKC) up highway 74 to 500 N. Grand, Crescent, Oklahoma.  We are 6
miles North of Hwy 33 at junction of Hwys 74/74C. We are Handicap Accessible, provide Senior discounts, and we have a
Gift Shop. We have tour group services with guided tours and tour bus parking. Tour groups are welcome.

We feature a Rotating Display through-out the year, bringing in special displays from local artists and historical
collectors. Our Museum visitors will want to know about these special presentations.

The Frontier Country Historical Society (FCHS) is a group of dedicated citizens of northern Oklahoma incorporated as a
501 (c) 3 entity for the purpose of identifying, studying, incorporating and preserving the memory of pioneer-day life as
it evolved on the prairie of the great Southwest from pre-20th century American to the present time.

The vision of the Historical Society is to preserve and transfer to future generations the rich history and heritage of the
hard-working people of our region who have helped shape our current and future culture and way of life.
